So how does it actually work?
The short answer is…very easily.

The whole program runs through a web interface. Simply log on and you're ready to go.

There are really only two steps to the process
  • Adding and organising your contact groups
  • Constructing the email
Adding and organising your contact groups
Managing your contacts is a breeze. You can add contacts in three ways:- 1. Manually add them using "Add Email Address" 2. Import a CSV file (if you don't know how we'll tell you) 3. Dump email addresses directly from your website (subject to your webmaster)

Once in your address book you can then assign email addresses into any number or combination of contact groups. You can create as many contact groups as you like and add, modify or delete records to suit the needs of your campaigns.

Constructing the email
This is where the fun really starts! If you're familiar with any word processor (such as WORD) you will not find this interface daunting at all. When you subscribe to extramail you will automatically be given a default template which you can preview at anytime. Your default template will contain your logo, links to your website home page, an email link and prominent representation of your telephone number.

All you need to worry about is completing the content box. Adding content is simply a question of typing your text (or cutting and pasting from a word processor) , adding images from your image gallery and formatting to suit.

Most simple mails take a matter of minutes to construct and deliver making ExtraMail one of the most user friendly programs you'll ever use.

You can add different templates to suit the needs of the campaign. For example if you are providing a range of information via email you may want different headers for sales, service, accounts etc. You can easily order different templates.

And for the ultimate in targeted mailing add the name and/or company of the recipient in the subject line and/or body of the mail and apply it to every single mail you send out! Nice.
